01What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage, pixels, and software development kits. In this Notice, we refer to all of them as "cookies".
Cookies set by us are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by another organization on our behalf are third-party cookies.
02Categories we use
| Category | Purpose and duration |
|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Required for the site and dashboard to function — session management, authentication, load balancing, and security. These cannot be switched off. Session or up to 12 months. |
| Functional | Remember preferences such as language, region, or dashboard layout. Up to 12 months. |
| Analytics | Help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it — pages viewed, referral source, and aggregate engagement. Up to 24 months. |
| Marketing | Measure the effectiveness of campaigns and, where you have consented, support advertising. Up to 12 months. |
Replace this table with the actual cookies set once analytics and marketing tooling is selected, including provider names and exact durations.
03Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by third parties we work with, such as our analytics and marketing platforms. Those providers may process your information under their own privacy policies. Our current providers are listed on our Sub-processors page.
04Managing your preferences
- Consent banner. Where required, we present a banner allowing you to accept or reject non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice at any time through the preferences link in our footer.
- Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site and dashboard from working.
- Opt-out signals. We honor Global Privacy Control where required by applicable law.
A consent management platform must be implemented before launch if the site is available in the EEA or UK.
05Do Not Track
There is no common industry standard for responding to browser "Do Not Track" signals. We do not currently respond to them, but we do honor recognized opt-out preference signals as described above.
06Changes and contact
We may update this Notice as our use of cookies changes. Questions can be sent to privacy@soniqpay.com.
